About the Fairmount Arts Council
Building The community through the arts…it’s how the Fairmount Arts Council is
making this city a better place. The Arts Council supports public arts
and the working artists in Fairmount through a variety of programs and
services. It also works to broaden and diversify arts audiences through
such efforts as our twice yearly Arts Crawl.
The Arts Council serves as Fairmount's chief arts resource, not
only for artists and arts organizations, but also for businesses,
educational institutions, neighborhood and community organizations, visitors
and residents.
Mission:
The Fairmount Arts Council formally began in August of 2005 to foster
and enrich the community and its history through support and
